Anthony Marchant Obituary
ANTHONY GLEN MARCHANT APR. 29, 1975 - FEB. 18, 2007 Tony was born and raised in Turlock, living here most of his life. He moved to Brighton, Colorado 6 years ago where he resided at the time of his death. Tony loved hunting, fishing and boating. He was also a member of the Clampers. Tony is survived by his parents, Gregory Marchant of Turlock and Glenda Marchant of Brighton, Co., his sister Melissa Marchant of Thornton, Co., and sister Dawn Marchant of Hilmar. He also leaves behind his nephew, Daniel Wilson and niece, McKinley Wilson both of Thornton, Co and his grandmother Louise Marchant of Turlock. Visitation will be held from Noon to 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Turlock Funeral Home. A funeral will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 26, 2007 also at Turlock Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Mausoleum at Turlock Memorial Park.

Tony!! Dang it´s hard to believe we have been without you for 18 years. We still think and talk about you often. Aubree and Shelbee still remember the fun times we all had. I wish you were here to celebrate how amazing they are, but I know you are watching. We miss you so much!!

Hey Tony!! Not a day goes by that WE don't think of you. I am always wondering WHEN you are going to open my front door and come in with that smile on your face. But I know that my front door won't be opening and that you won't be walking through it. Shelbee started school a few weeks ago. Her 1st day of school she found a "Tony" penny, that is what she calls them. She was so excited. You would be proud of her. Aubree thinks about you and talks about you all the time. The girls find "Tony" pennies all the time. They know they are from you and they keep the pennies close to them. Steve thinks about you everyday when he is driving. He misses the fun times you had when you drove together. We ALL miss you so much Tony. We all LOVE you!!!!!!

Happy Birthday!!! We had a party for you, but it WASN"T the same without YOU!!! Tony, WE all miss you so much and think of you every day we wake up and every day we go to sleep. Things are not the same without you walking through our front door, making my girls smile and us laugh. We miss that!! It's so hard to believe still that you are gone. 32 years ago you were placed in my arms, and I was the happiest person in the world.Then 6 years ago you moved here with us, and we became great friends, we shared so many things together.We shopped together and got our quads,every day we had to go ride ,but it was so cold and lots of snow.You would want to race me, knowing you would win, and you did....you made so many plans for us to go ride, well now I ride, but its always sad and such a lonely ride without you.
All your friends came out, and you have brought us together ,and we will all always love and miss you.

Tony, I called you yesterday just to hear your voice. I still can't believe your gone. We miss you SO much. I can't describe how much you are missed. Aubree and Shelbee always talk about you and how much they miss you. I keep expecting and wanting you to walk through my door and give me a BIG BEAR HUG and smile your smile!!!! Tony, I miss you and I know my brother Johnny does too. You were so good and kind to him. And you were such a good cook. I remember that you made barbecued chicken on the grill one time when I was there. Your mom made fried green tomatoes and zucchini and fried okra. What a treat that meal was!
I really appreciated your willingess to pick up John at the airport when we flew back to Denver. You are a kind and generous man. Glenda and Jack, my prayers and love go to you as you deal with such a loss. Tony was a wonderful reflection of you. He is still with you in spirit and he will continue to communicate with you at the times you need that most. I love you all.

If it weren't for Tony ... I never would be able to beat my kids at Super Mario Brothers! It may have been 1987 and he may have only been 12, but he was the Nintendo Champ and was always willing to show off his high scores and share his techniques. His time here was too short.
