David Robert Cole

66, of Modesto, Ca, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 17, 2014.  He was born in Modesto, Ca on January 21, 1948 to the late Robert and Felsa Cole.  
He is survived by his son, David Roy Cole & spouse Moon; daughter, Jo Lynne Cole & partner Sue Ann; sister; Harriett Bernier; brother, Dennis A. Cole; best friend (brother), Jim Hofstetter; nieces, Misti Cole and Irma T'Souvas; nephews, Steven R. Spears, Craig Gaines, Dennis R. Cole; special friends, Kevin and Brandi Blunt, and many others who loved him.
David is a navy veteran and he served during the Vietnam War period. He also worked at Gallo Glass as a glassblower for many years. David was truly a family man at heart and he loved to make people laugh.  David's life took him down many paths and now he is on his path to eternal peace.
A full military memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on June 4, 2014 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, located at 32053 West McCabe Rd., Santa Nella, CA 95322.  Immediately following the memorial service, a friends and family potluck tribute will be held at 5:30 pm, at 14024 Yosemite Blvd., Waterford, CA 95386.
