David Feaver Obituary
July 13, 1945 - October 22, 2022
Modesto, California - David (Dave) Elwyn Feaver, aged 77, of Modesto, California, passed away suddenly on Oct. 22,2022 as a result of a tragic car accident.
Dave was born on July 13th, 1945 in Whittier, California and was the beloved adopted son of George (Elywn) and Vera Feaver of Visalia. Dave grew up in Visalia and Chowchilla,graduating from Chowchilla High School in 1963. Dave served in the Air Force from 1966 until 1970. He attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Agriculture Mechanics.
In 1974, he married Irene and together they had two beautiful daughters.
Dave's love for Jesus was evident to all who knew him and he was active in missionary and charity work. He had a passion for people- helping them any way he could and making them feel at home. His career consisted of a variety of jobs in agriculture, manufacturing, finance, and sales. Dave enjoyed cars, sailing, watching sports, and volunteering.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. He is survived by his wife Irene; his children Nicole (Andrew) Taylor and Andrea (Maks) Surguy; and four grandsons. He will be greatly missed but we know we will be reunited with him one day in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at Modesto Covenant Church on Nov. 13th at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Modesto Covenant Church Missions Fund.

Irene and family,
We are so saddened to hear this tragic news. We met Dave when we first moved to Modesto at the Wine Shoppe on Standiford back in the early 2000's. Dave shared his knowledge of winemaking and wine with us--we owned Angels' Share Wine Shop. He spoke with love of his family and his church. We remember him with great respect and are honored to have known him. We have since moved out of CA and unfortunately won't be able to attend the service. Prayers of comfort for you during this difficult time.
