Great memories of coming out to Daves shop as a small boy, listening to his stories and knowledge about Mopar´s, Going to the Races in the car hauler with Don and Steve Wann, and later in life Dave letting me use his shop to help build my Race car there. Always sending me home with a few bottles of good Wine he´ll truly be missed and always be remembered as one of Modesto´s legends in the Automotive field.

Dear Rettig family, I´m so sorry for your loss. Dave was so kind to my family when Randy passed away. You all were like family to us. May God bless you at this time of loss with his loving arms around you to give you comfort.

Pat, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I have a bottle of wine Dave gave me (2013 vintage). I will open it shortly and remember all the wonderful help David always provided when I would stop by the shop with a machanical problem. You and Dave were one of my first clients when I started at Bank of America in 1983-you were both so nice and provided me the education that helped me fo the next 37 years. Lastly, our love of Pajaro Dunes both for Sandy and I as well as our children and grand children is a result of your generous sharing. We will always remember you both. David Yonan
