Dennis Davis, 66, was born on September 30th, 1952 in Turlock, Ca. to Sam and Carol Davis. He was raised in Turlock, playing on little league teams, attending Turlock schools, and worked at Jensen's and National market. Dennis graduated from Turlock High School in 1970, and then attended Modesto Junior College. Where he earned his BA in industrial drawing. He then married his high school sweetheart, Nova (Wattles) Davis, they were married for 42 years. They had two children, Jennifer (Davis) Cool and Jason Davis. He worked for SaveMart Supermarkets for over 25 years. After retiring from SaveMart Supermarket, he opened Dennova's Photography, which he did part time while also taking care of his ill wife Nova Davis until her passing in 2014. After which he moved to Texas, where he married Sue Davis and became a parent to her children; Rachelle, Kimberly, Jamie, Michael, Aaron and Rachelle. Dennis enjoyed work- ing out, watching MMA fights, playing the drums, chess and doing photography. He also attended church at Connecting Point Church of the Nazarene in Denair where he was a life long member.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Nova (Wattles) Davis, his mother Carol Davis, and granddaughter Madasynn Cool. He is survived by his wife, Sue Davis. His father Sam Davis, his siblings Kelli Davis Wagner, and Scott Davis. Along with his children, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be held at Connecting Point Church of the Nazarene in Denair on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:30pm. His service is open to anyone who would like to attend.
