EDWIN MORAIS JULY 15, 1924 - NOV. 22, 2005 Edwin Morais, 81, of Modesto died Tuesday at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Hughson.
Mr. Morais was a native of Byron and lived in Modesto 75 years. He was a farmer. He served in the Army with the 753rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in Yokohama, Japan. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and MPPA, and had been a leader for Westport 4-H.
He is survived by his children, Darryl Morais of Modesto and Karen Morais of Fresno; and sister, Marie Lundeen of Carmel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Morais; and one brother.
Visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs, with the rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, in care of Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto 95356.
