Turlock, California - On December 14th, 2024 Gary Martin Thorn was called to be with the Lord in Heaven.
Gary was born on August 13th, 1950 in Ceres, CA to parents Donald and June Thorn. Gary married the love of his life, Linda Gwin in June of 1971. They had two children, Amy Pulido and Derek Thorn. He was a caring and loving father, papa and great-grand papa that always had time to provide his wisdom and many life experiences. Gary was a huge sports fan and loved to talk about the SF Giants. He always made sure his children were up to date with the team. Gary was in food sales for 40 years, his skill of providing excellent customer service is what he was proud of. His memory and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Gary is survived by; his wife of 53 years, Linda Thorn, daughter, Amy Pulido, son, Derek Thorn, son-in-law, Felipe Pulido, daughter-in-law, Camryn Thorn, 7 grandchildren & one great grandchild.
The viewing will be held at Allen's Mortuary in Turlock on January 2nd from 5-7 p.m. The funeral will be at Allen's Mortuary on January 3rd at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.

So sorry to have just seen Gary's obituary. My father Les worked with and played tons of golf with Gary many years ago. I remember Gary fondly and am sorry for the loss of a funny, kind man.My brothers and I send the family our condolences.

I remember us as kids playing and basically "tearing the house down" while our parents sat at the kitchen table drinking gallons of coffee and telling stories totally unaware of what we were doing! Good times.
