Our deepest sympathies. We will miss Gery stopping in for a visit and the friendly honks and waves we got when he was driving by. The neighborhood won't be the same.

Will always carry your advice on fatherhood, & will miss our long phone call routines. We should have swapped shirts that day, I love you bro. Thank you for everything you taught me.

To be known as the quintessential father for his daughters, is an honor beyond measure. Such fathers have a special place in heaven. Gerry is and will always be smiling at his girls... As the rest of us fathers continue to learn to meet his standard, God has already blessed him as he sits beside Him while he blesses his daughters as they heal and become the women he raised them to be. Comadre, God bless you as you are wonderful mother and person. You are very strong and your daughters have a lot to be thankful for. God bless you and your family.

You were the joy of our home, my best friend and soulmate. Thank you for our three beautiful baby girls and thank you so much for helping raise them to be the amazing young ladies they are today. I have some very big shoes to fill, but I promise I will do my best to continue to do what they loved doing with you. I will make sure you forever live in our hearts and that the traditions we shared continue. We love and miss you, until we meet again, love your girls.

When we were little you would never go anywhere unless you could take your little sister. You left me with a big responsibility and I promise that I will not let you down. This isn’t a goodbye. See you when I see you! Save me a seat like you have for the past 43 years. I love you!

Gerardo aka Gery, you were a great soul and lifted everybody’s spirits around you. I never looked at you like my brother-in-law. I looked at you like a new older brother that I gained. I respected and admired what a great father you were to my nieces. I strive to be like you with my boys. You will forever be in our hearts I love you.
