Jacques Potts Obituary
September 28, 1936 - January 16, 2016
Loving dad, grandfather, friend, and local businessman, Jack Potts is survived by his four children, Steve, Jessica (Douglas), Glenn, and Joanne, brother-in-law Robin, 1 nephew, and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved, Ruth Ford. He is also survived by Ruth's children and extended family.
Jack was a well known local printer who founded and operated Copy King Printers, starting in 1979. Throughout the years Jack thoroughly enjoyed his customers until his retirement in 2009. Jack was born in Harrisburg, PA, served honorably as a printer in the U.S. Air Force, and was an avid SF Giants and 49ers fan. He was a devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his family, discussing politics with all who would listen, and going to casinos. All who knew Jack are invited to attend his memorial service.
Jack's service will be held at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto on Saturday, January 30th at 1 pm. A reception will follow at a nearby location to be disclosed at the memorial service. Dad - we miss you every day. We KNOW that you were taken from us far too soon that day during your quiet afternoon Nap.
I know that you are now with Grandma & Grandpa Potts, Sandy, Gene, Eric and ALL of your many, many other family & friends above.

I first met Jack in 1978 when he was a service man for the A.B. Dick Co. and came to repair a press at the small printing business I owned at that time. Later he opened a printing business of his own and we became friendly competitors. We shared help and borrowed stock back and forth for many years. He was my friend and I will miss him.

Dad I love you more than anything. I had 39 years to enjoy you and our camping and fishing times together. Not to mention all the McDonald Sunday visits while you gave me advise about boys and dating. We talked about everything. Thank you for being there for me always and being my two kids Papa.
