JOHN ANTHONY POOLE

  John was born on Oct. 18, 1981 in Modesto, California, to the parents of Michael and Susan Poole. He grew up in Escalon all his life and went to the local schools then on to Modesto Junior College and Hearld Business School to become a paralegal.  He loved his little brother Jake, playing guitar, reading, baseball, music, cooking, going to concerts, and certain games on Play Station 3.
We were graced with his life almost eleven more years after a car accident in 2003 that left him a paralytic from the waist down. During this time he taught us to have patients,  show  your love often, and live life to the fullest. His greatest accomplishment was studying Judaism and almost finished converting to Jewish religion.  Unfortunately he had to undergo many health problems from the accident which he was recovering from when he passed away.       
  He is survived by his parents, brother, his grandparents Clinton (who had passed away 5 weeks earlier) and Louise Poole of Manteca and Wallace and Joyce Fannin of Escalon.  Many aunts, uncles and cousins, and (little Clint his cousin who died 7 yrs ago), many friends, and classmates.  He will always be remembered as the comedian, trash talker when playing football, and a good listener. 
He had a private graveside funeral on Nov. 8 , 2013 at Park View Cemetery in Manteca, Calif.  His service was led by Rabbi Andra Greenwald.
