My husband Tom played softball out at Mt. View with Matt whom always had a big beautiful smile on his face... I heard the terrible news Sat. nt and when I shared it with my husband he was very sad and said Matt was such a great guy..

Matt was one of the most enjoyable people to be around that I've ever met. I never saw the kid frown, and never meet anyone that didn't love him. I'll miss his handshake and not being able to catch up with him whenever I come home to visit. We'll meet again buddy!

Matt was always an awesome guy. It was a pleasure to know someone of his caliber. A fantastic athlete and all around good person, he will be missed. My prayers go out to him and his loved ones. Rest in peace brother.

Matt was a person we all knew for years, We all knew when he arrived...That Smile he had was breathing his laughter was contagious. Just know the tears will begin to lighten and more of his memories we will remember. Matt was great!! A beautiful smile he did have, and such an energetic personality. We all will cherish the memories of him and he will never be forgotten. In our hearts he will always be. I know that this time is rough and are only the days to come, but always remember the great moments you had with him and a smile u will get. I know exactly how you are feeling, I too lost a brother. Matt, you always knew how to "break the ice" in any room with that warm smile. From the days of playing basketball on Drew to the times when I served you a beer or two in Casuelas...I just want to thank you for all the great memories that I will never be able to forget. We will see eachother again!
And to the Miller family, we are truly sorry for this terrible loss. The pain you are going through is something that nobody should ever have to feel. We are praying for your family to be able to gain the strength to forgive and understand that everything happens for a reason. God Bless!

It's saddens me greatly to learn of the sudden passing of Matt. Matt and I were on the same little league baseball team years ago. For whatever reason I can hardly remember my other teammates, but I have never forgotten Matt. I would see him out every once in a while and we were able to talk and catch up. I didn't know matt very well, but i know that he was a great friend to alot of people and a great guy and always had a smile... I watched him play softball a few times out in crowslanding... i played softball with "matty" .....what a great group of guys to be around !!!!!- matty always smiled and always made others feel good around him-didnt feel the same if matty wasnt around to play that week-i was stunned at the news....cant stop thinking of matt since-i dont believe in closure....im just gonna remember matty playing second base and turning a double play from me at third or michael pires at short-GOD must have need a middle infielder for his team....go with GOD matty...ill miss ur smile
