Max Keys
October 28, 1932 - April 24, 2021
Oakdale, California - Max Franklin Keys of Oakdale CA passed away suddenly at the age of 88. He was born in Oakland, California to Clarence and Anna Keys. Max grew up in Northern California and later worked throughout the United States as a journeyman newspaper pressman for 50 years before retiring.
Max was kind and generous to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Lois N. Keys.
Max is survived by his children Pamela Rice, Randolph Griffith, and Robert Keys, grandchildren Randalynn Quesada, Brianna Myer, Krista Deaton, David Griffith, Taylor Griffith, Jesse Griffith, Jacob Keys, Laura Gonzalez, Carrie Bettencourt, and Spencer Rice. He had 21 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held between 5pm-8pm on Monday, May 3rd at Eaton Family Funeral Service at 513 12th Street, Modesto, CA. Following this will be a graveside service which will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park at 2:00 PM Monday, May 4th at 431 N. Sierra Ave. Oakdale, CA.

I remember Max as a real gentleman. Such a great guy. Spending time with Max, Lois, and Robert will always be an important part of my childhood memories. God bless
