October 5, 1945 - May 13, 2021
Oakdale, California - Maynard is preceded in death by his parents, Maynard Denton Melching Sr. and Lois Gene Mahan, Brother, Dennis Melching, wife Brenda Melching and great grandson Drayden Drake.
He is survived by his daughters Sheryl Hansen (son-in-law Dennis Hansen) & Shelly Melching-Imbrunetti (son-in-law Angelo Imbrunetti), grandchildren (Ashley, Thomas, Samantha, Casandra, Heather, Kyle, Matthew & Tyler), great grandchildren (Alyce, Jazmine, Oliver, Jaxston, Kameron, Brantly & Everly) and many family, extended family, friends and amazing neighbors who love him.
Maynard loved to spend time with his family and friends fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycles and going to the casino. He is the family and neighborhood fix it man and would volunteer to help any time someone was in need. He could always be found first thing in the morning, sitting in his special chair on his front porch greeting the neighborhood walkers, joggers and golf cart riders while he was feeding the feral cats of the neighborhood.
Life will not be the same without his hilarious quick wit, laughter and true compassion and he will be missed immensely by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him and have him in their lives.
We love you Dad. Muhwah!

Maynard was a member of Old Coots On Scoots, and I had the pleasure of riding with him several times. Unfortunately because of a medical problem I’m experiencing, I regret not being able to attend his Service today. I enjoyed having a beer, and B.S.ing with Maynard. He always made me laugh. My Sincere Condolences to Family and Friends...
