Found memories of my flute teacher from Springfield Mo. She had a direct impact on me chosing to teach music for 30 years in West Plains Mo. I also remember her wonderful mother who helped around the house on Normal street. The angles in heaven will enjoying having Nancy in Gods orchestra.

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of Nancy. I have many fond memories of coming to your home in Springfield to take private flute lessons. She instilled in me a love and appreciation for music. Her humor and inspiration kept me interested in music and focused on becoming the best I could be in life and the arena of music. God bless your family during this time. Judy Edmonds Doran

Nancy started, taught, guided and encouraged me on the flute, until you moved from Springfield, molding and enhancing my love of music. Nancy was the best private flute teacher I ever had. She will always have a special place in my heart and memory. She touched innumerable lives positively. The world will surely miss her. My sincere sympathy for your loss.

Nancy & Ed Howard
January 29, 2012
Nancy was a devoted musician and tireless supporter of music in the schools. Our daughters were privileged to be part of her efforts to see that students received the best she had to offer. As a parent I assisted when possible and attended all the concerts. I so appreciate what Nancy was able to do to bring music to the schools. We also enjoyed her participation in the early days of the Modesto Symphony. To Tom and all the family we send our loving thoughts at this time of loss. You have lost your wife and mother, we have lost someone who brought music to our students and the community. We are saddened but know that there will be lovely music wherever Nancy is. Thank you for sharing Nancy with us as I know she was very busy much of the time.
