Stephanie Lindquist Obituary
Born October 10, 1961 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Lynn T. and Wanda (Gose) Emerick. She was a 1979 graduate of Monroe High School.
For most of her working career, Stephanie was a phlebotomist, most recently at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She also enjoyed working at Dixie Soft Serve with her mother, Wanda.
She loved going for walks, vacationing in Florida and watching the Detroit Tigers, University of Michigan football and the Detroit Lions. She enjoyed playing softball and shuffleboard. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and cherished the time she spent with her granddaughter, Tenley.
To cherish her memory she leaves her daughter, Ashley Gillean, and granddaughter Tenley Gillean of Ida; father, Lynn (Theresa) Emerick of Monroe; long-time companion, Dr. Vincent Pernell of Saline; two sisters, Lori (Gary Coomer) Kopka of Blissfield and Alison (Matt) Frazer of Monroe; brother Kevin (Margaret) Emerick of Tecumseh; and six nieces and nephews.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Emerick, and two nephews, Jason and Ryan Kopka.
Family and friends may visit from 12 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Detruf will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or Medilodge of Monroe.

It was with shock and great sadness to learn of Steph's passing. Please know, I hold dear, so many colorful and crazy memories of the friendship we shared, in the days now consumed to time. I keep you all in my heart and in my prayers at this most grievous time. Please accept my deepest sympathies. :(
