Steven LaBudda Obituary

Steven Karl LaBudda, age 67, passed from this earth on August 14, 2016.
He was predeceased by his father, John LaBudda, his mother Jayn LaBudda, and his sister Jayn Strunk.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan (Julie), Matthew (Tammy), daughter, Rachel (Michael) Bradford, grandchildren Owen, Claire, Paige LaBudda, Keegan, Kendall Martin and Evan Bradford as well as several nephews and nieces.
Steven grew up in Flat Rock, Mi. From an early age, he loved the outdoors. He cherished his memories of growing up racing canoes on the Huron River. He briefly attended Northern Michigan University where he continued his love for the outdoors and the Upper Peninsula.
Steven married Marilyn Bee and they had three children prior to separating.
He retired from the DTE Fermi II Nuclear Power facility in Newport, MI where he worked for many years as a Chemistry Technician. He retired to Paradise, Mi.
Steven, or Sevie, was a man of many abilities. He loved hunting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, motorcycling, kayaking, camping, farming, building, tinkering, history, hiking, fishing, telling stories, sailing, living off the grid in his Paradise cabin, but mostly his dogs, Gretta and Oscar.
Steven was much beloved by his children and will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be August 27, at 12 Noon, at 13337 N. Whitefish Pointe Road, Paradise, Michigan 49768.
Donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
