RUBY HENDRICKS Obituary

HENDRICKS, Mrs. Ruby M. Charles, a life long member of the Madison Park Community, Montgomery County, AL. She took flight with the Angels, January 9, 2006. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Satur-day, January 14, 2006 at Hutchin-son Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. G. W. C. Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow in Old Elam Baptist Church Cemetery with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., directing. Those left to cherish the fond memories of her are her eight loving and devot-ed children, Morris (Willie Mae) Hendricks, Atlanta, GA.; Donald Hendricks, Los Angeles, CA.; Bar-bara H. Hardy, Montgomery, AL.; LCDR Melvin (Bertha) Hendricks, Meridian, MS.; Simuel (Debora) Hendricks, Celia Hendricks, Leon-ard Hendricks, and Gary Hendricks, all of Montgomery, AL; Brothers: Da-vid L. (Doris) Charles, Sylvester (Bre-nda) Shuler, Clarence (Doris) Shul-er, all of Montgomery, AL; ""Sisters"": Dorothy Sanders, Tucson, AZ.; Lula (Clyde) Keys, Gary, IN.; and Gladys Powell, Detroit, MI; Sister-in-laws: Hula Hendricks, Detroit, MI; Julia McCan, Baltimore, MD; Ruby Owens, San Francisco, CA; Diane Busby, Oakland, CA; Martha Petti-way, Bernice Simon, Margaret Smith and Bessie Hendricks, all of Montgomery, AL; and Jean Hen-dricks, Baltimore, MD; eighteen grandchildren, including two very devoted granddaughters, Rosalyn Hendricks and Shannon Owens; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; a foster sister, Catherine (Eric) Clay-ton; a host of nieces including a di-eted niece, Yvonne Hardin, neph-ews, cousins including a special cousin, Bettye Williams, many friends and extended children and grandchildren.
