Thomas Thomas Obituary

Thomas Lewis Thomas, II Thomas Lewis Thomas, II of Penllyn, PA passed away December 19, 2011, he was 83 years old. He was the son of the late Lowell S. Thomas and Josephine McVey Thomas of Phila., PA. He attended the William Penn Charter School, Germantown Academy and Hampden-Sydney College in VA. He worked for the Superior Zinc Company in Bristol, PA and eventually formed the T.L. Thomas Company, a non-ferrous metal brokerage. His affiliations included the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry, the Philadelphia Cricket Club, Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club in Beach Haven, NJ, and Wings Field Aviation Country Club. Mr. Thomas enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay, traveling and spending time in Florida and Cape Cod. He was the husband of the late Lois Ann Chamberlain Thomas. He is survived by his daughter Carey Thomas Maloumian of Phila., son Thomas Lewis Thomas, III of Hardyville, VA, stepsons, Sydney S. Blake of Allentown, Stephen C. Blake of Columbia, MD, Samuel M. Blake of Phila., grandchildren Hadjii and Hunter Maloumian, Samantha, Mason, Finley, Noah and Caitlyn Blake, his brother Lowell S. Thomas, Jr (Judith) of Blue Hill, ME. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Dec. 22nd, 3PM, at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Whitemarsh, Bethlehem Pk. and Camp Hill Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ware Academy Scholarship Fund, 7936 John Clayton Memorial Highway, Gloucester, VA 23061. (Jacob F. Ruth)
