I still think of my cousin from time to time. I remember all the good times we had growing up in Brooklyn. While the years have passed,my memories can never be forgotten.

My Grandfather was saved when Dr. Addonizio operated on him at Temple. I currently teach college in their BSN program and constantly reference Dr. Addonizio, his writings, research, and his genuine great care and personality. I just found out he passed while researching for my class. Although I met him only twice, he was a great man. I am sorry.

Dr. Addonizio was so polite and humble when speaking with his patients he worked so hard for. I was impressed with his graciousness and humility and appreciate the example he set. Sincerest sympathy to all his family, friends and coworkers.

Our sincerest sympathy to the family on this tragic loss. Dr Addonizio was the only Doctor willing to operate on my step son two years ago. He was turned down by all of the Philadelphia Hospitals for a valve replacemnet. He was given only two weeks to live before Dr Addonizio stepped in and performed three operations in five days. God bless his soul, he was a gift to this world.

Addonizio Family and Friends, Dr. Addonizio helped to save my brother Thomas (Tom) Lynn's life at Temple University Hospital in 1992 by performing surgery and giving my brother the ventricular assist device (VAD) machine because he had heart failure. A short time following this procedure, my brother got a heart transplant; and this gave me brother 13 more years of life before he died in 2004. My family and I are grateful to Dr. Addonizio for saving my brother Tom's life. Dr. Addonizio was a gifted and talented heart surgeon as well as being a nice, quiet, and humble man. I am remembering you in my thoughts and prayers.
With sympathy,

Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to the Addonizio family. Doctor Addonizio performed a heart valve repair on my husband last year. He was a kind compassionate doctor that helped our family though this frightening ordeal. The world has truly lost a unique human being as well as one of the most excellent surgeons. He will be remembered always by the many that was fortunate to cross his path.

In 1995 I needed a valve replacement, I was only 19 so Dr. Addonizio suggested the Ross procedure for me so that I may have children. This was performed at Temple University Hospital. Today, I am still sympton free, have two wonderful children and never forget the man who made this all possible. My deepest sympothy to his family and friends. He did a lot of good and that will always live on.

In 1993 Dr. Addonizio saved my father's life at Temple Hospital, with bypass surgery. My father lived another 10 years, in good health, and passed away at age 93. Dr. Addonizio was a shining star and so kind to my mother and me, as well as my dad. I was stunned to see this in the newspaper and am truly sorry for your loss. He was gifted and I am sorry for the others who will not benefit from his expertise! God bless you all and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time!
