Dad, I just wanted everyone to know how much I loved you and you will be truly missed by Miranda, Mike, Nate, and me. I wish I could have kept you forever, but God knew you were very sick and weak. I know God does everything according to his will, but I'm a little lost without you. You ask me to take care of you and I tried to do everything I possibly could to try and help you. I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way, because that was never my intention. I think I was able to honor your wishes and one thing is for sure, I never let go of you, until the Lord took you home. I miss taking care of you and above all, you were never a burden to me, you were a blessing. I'm sure Mom was happy to see you too. I will always love you and remember important things you taught me. You taught me the true meaning of forgiveness and now I must practice this in my own life. I will see you in Heaven one day and I'm sure your body is in much better shape now.
I will love you forever,
Love, Cindy

To the family of Clyde Helton, I wish to extend my dearest sympathies. I knew Clyde before he met the Lord, and I knew him after he accepted Christ. The transformation in Clyde's life was unbelievable to say the least, once he began living for the Lord. The youngest daughter Cindy, who I understand cared for Clyde, told me Clyde could be a handful at times, but all the sweet times she had with him cancelled out all the hard times. She also said, it was an honor to get to be chosen to be his care-giver. I understand that Clyde had 6 children and I would like to convey my deepest regret for your loss. Clyde was a good friend and he will be missed immensely.

I am sorry to hear of your fathers' passing. He was a spectacular golfer, christian, and a good friend. My heart goes out to the family, especially to his daughter who cared for him. I know this has left a hole in all of your hearts. May God bless you and comfort you in your time of need.

Clyde was my dad's nephew. I haven't seen Clyde in a number of years but he was a special man. Clyde was a good man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I am sure the Helton clan is having a heavenly reunion. From the Theodore and Erma Helton families.

Clyde was a great freind and the golfing memories will live on in our hearts. Clyde was one of the most honest people that I have ever known and he always had something good to say about everyone. I'll miss him and I am so sorry for the family in this sad time, but we will see him again "IN GOD'S TIME" ---------God Bless "The Carolina Family Quartet

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I know the pain of losing him is hurting each and every one of you, but time will heal the hurting. I knew Clyde in a special way and I knew when he accepted our Lord, Jesus Christ. He always told me that, " We are only responsible for our own actions." I was there when he passed and was honored to watch his spirit ascend towards Heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I thank our Lord, Jesus Christ for allowing me to be part of his wonderful life. Rest in Peace, Brother Clyde. You leave an empty place in our heart, but those who knew you well, are excited that you are in our Heavenly Fathers' arms tonight. We love you now and forever.
