David Fone Obituary
WOOSTER - David S. Fone, 66, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 in his home.
He was born November 14, 1945 in Stoke on Trent, England, the son of Sidney and Barbara Bullock Fone. He married Phyllis Fone in 1965. She survives.
He had been a meat manager for 28 years at Convenient Foods and had worked in a Fresh Market in Louisville, Kentucky for 6 years. In his retirement he worked at St. Mary's Academy in Louisville. David enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, David S. (Connie) Fone of Louisville, Kentucky and a daughter, Linda M. (Gerard) Thibo of Wooster; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Katie, Justin, Sydney and Celine; brother, Brian (Lauri) Fone of Southern California and sisters Linda (Carson) Burton of Ontario, Canada and Kathy (Rich) Bianchi of Fernley, Nevada.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Allan Fone.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster 2 hours prior to the 3:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, September 2, 2012 with Rev. Evelyn Manzella officiating.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Rd., Suite 202, Independence, OH 44131-2217.
