Edward Gallup Obituary

Edward E. Gallup passed away February 27, 2016.
He leaves behind his father, Edward Gallup, Sisters, Denise and Dian Gallup, brother, Michael Gallup, and sons, Toby and Tory Gallup.
He was buried May 10, 2016 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas, next to his mother, Harriet Gallup, who died May 10, 1977.
He was a licensed certified paralegal, specialized in criminal and corporate law.
When he lived in Hollywood, Ed went to Barney's Benery to hang out. When Clint Eastwood sat next to him and ordered a beer and said, "Give this man a beer too," he asked Ed, "So are you impressed with who you're sitting with?" Ed said "No, but I'm impressed you bought me a beer."
Ed was a real badass with a gentle spirit.
March 1, 1973, at the age of sixteen, he enlisted in the U.S. Military Service. He was a medic in the Navy, at eighteen he was transferred to Mothasal Medical Hospital in Washington D.C., working with terminally ill children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his memory, or send your hair to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
