Sarah Ryder
Arma - Sarah Ryder, 71, entered into eternal rest January 2, 2021 at The University of Kansas Medical Center surrounded by her husband and two sons.
She was born to Peter J Lamonti and Eva Smirl Lamonti on March 4, 1949 in Pittsburg. She attended schools in Pittsburg and Girard, graduating from Girard High School in 1967. She married Richard Ryder on September 7, 1968 in Arma, and was a member of the Arma United Methodist Church. Sarah was an LPN working in assisted living and had been employed by Oakview Estates in Frontenac until her retirement in 2015. She was devoted to helping others and had a positive impact on so many people. She treasured her husband and children and embraced every moment with them. She will be greatly missed. According to her wishes, she has been cremated. Survivors include her husband of the home, Jeffrey Ryder of Pittsburg, Darren Ryder of Pittsburg, and Frances Ryder of Frontenac. Additional survivors include Eva Hall, Dunkirk, IN, Delores (Albert) Ely, Dunkirk, IN, William (Mary) Hall, Redkey, IN, and Margaret Spencer, Portland, IN. She was preceded in death by her father Peter Lamonti, father-in-law Daniel A. Ryder, and brother-in-law Daniel Ray Ryder.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Friends may sign the register at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. The family suggests expressions of sympathy to Hope Lodge in Kansas City, MO. Donations may be sent or left at the Bedene Funeral Home at 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.

Are used to babysit Jeffrey and Darren I live next-door to Richard and Sarah for a number of years have not seen them in a while but I truly thought Sarah was a lovely person we used to have talks when I was younger so sad to hear of her passing
