Raymond Knutson Obituary

Raymond F. Knutson, 79-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral Service held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14827 Prairie Drive in Little Falls. Caring for Raymond and his family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.

Raymond Francis Knutson was born on June 6, 1943 in Fremont, NE to the late Carl and Helen (Larsen) Knutson. Along with his parents and brother, Ken, they farmed in Nebraska until the family moved to a farm in rural Little Falls, MN. Everyone knew the "Knutson Brothers." Raymond was united in marriage to Karen Klug on May 27, 1978 and they remained happily married for the next 44 years. The couple raised three children; Sara, Erik and Carrie.

Raymond Knutson was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1990. He had faith in his heavenly father, Jehovah, and his promise of the resurrection.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Karen; children, Sara (John) Kinard of Enderlin, ND, son Erik (Kate) Knutson and their son Elliot of Little Falls, and Carrie Knutson of Little Falls; brother Carl (Janet) Knutson of Brainerd, MN, sister Pat Hilgenkamp of Uehling, NE, brother Kenneth (Gisela) Knutson of Little Falls, and sister Linda (Gordon) Swanson of Uehling, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul (Alice) Knutson; and brother-in-law, Dallas Hilgenkamp.

Ray was a quiet, gentle man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
