Penny "Bottle" Etue, age 58, of Marengo, passed away Friday evening, December 4, 2015, at the Bennington Glenn Nursing Center, following a short one year battle of ailing health.

She especially loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are two children: Jonathan (Laura McClung) Etue of Marengo, and Joshua (Robyn) Etue of Mount Gilead; five grandchildren: Gunner, Jade, Larissa, Joleen, and Joey; former husband, Joseph Etue of Mount Gilead; brothers and sisters: Darrell (Melissa) Van Dyke of Fredericktown, Danny (Janet) Van Dyke of Fredericktown, Kenny (Sharon) Van Dyke of Cardington, Trisha (Steve) Roush of Mount Gilead, Holly Van Dyke of Marengo, Gary Van Dyke of Marengo, Dale (Pat) Baker of Marion, Becky Welch of Marion, Alan (Claudia) Baker of Marengo, David (Becky) Baker of Galion, Mike Baker of Marion, and June (Doug) Graham of Cardington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Penny was preceded in death by her mother, Ida E. (Hass) Van Dyke; a sister, Regina (Van Dyke) Wein; and a brother, Tommy Jo Van Dyke.
Family will greet friends from 1 to 3 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel. (67 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead) A memorial service will be held at 3 PM with Minister Aaron Beacom officiating. Burial will follow in Butter Cemetery.
