Robert Gerlock Obituary
FARMINGTON - Robert C. Gerlock, 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at F. F. Thompson Hospital.
The family will greet friends on Friday, April 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Halsted-Patrick Funeral , 19 N. Main St., Manchester. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Farmington Cemetery.
In memory of Robert, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Victor-Farmington Ambulance, 1321 East Victor Road, Victor, NY 14564.
Robert, the son of the late Louis and Anne (McMillan) Gerlock, was born on Tuesday, June 18, 1929, in Canandaigua. He graduated from Shortsville High School in 1946.
Robert worked at his own farm in Farmington for his entire life.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Robert was a past president of the Ontario County Farm Bureau and an assessor for the Town of Farmington for 25 years.
Robert will be remembered by his sons, Charles and Todd Gerlock; grandchildren, Doug, Meghan, Katlyn, Jessica, Andrew (Ashley), Robert, Grant and Seth Gerlock; great-grandchildren, Allie, Aiden, Aria, Alexander and Damon; and sister-in-law, Georgiana Gerlock.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, June (Busch) Gerlock; son, James Gerlock; and brothers, Fred (Helen) and John Gerlock.
