Darrell Gene Teal II Darrell Gene Teal II, 57, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, October 28th in Glasscock County. Darrell was born November 19, 1951, in Orange, to Darrell and Lila Jones Teal. He was a truck driver for Oxy. He married the love of his life, Ofelia Rodriguez, on February 22, 1985, in Rankin, Texas. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a very, hard worker but would drop whatever he was doing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved watching the Cowboys play football, keeping himself busy in the yard or around the house, barbequeing but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 24 years; Ofelia Teal, 2 daughters; Desi Garcia and Kimberly Teal, 2 sons; Ross Rodriguez and Andrew Teal, all of Midland, his father; Darrell Teal of Bridge City, 2 sisters; Susan Williford of Grand Prairie and Nancy Ontiveros and her husband Gilbert of Kingwood; 3 grandsons; Carlos and Matthew Garcia, and Jacob Rodriguez, all of Midland, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Teal. A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 1st, at 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 2nd, at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Monsignor James Bridges officiating. Zak Iskra, Ramon Rodriguez, Kenneth Pruitt, Eddie Dobson, Jerry Pinkston, Chris Ramirez, Zaragosa Munoz, Junior Rodriguez, Leroy Salinas, Jr. and Ector Salinas serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
