Jesse Albritton Obituary

"Danny" Jesse Daniel Albritton, 74, of Odessa, Texas, went to be with his Lord on October 31, 2014. Funeral services are on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Curtis Benninghoff officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Danny was born to Jessie and Dorene Albritton on July 12, 1940. He graduated from OHS and, in 1974, opened Albritton Machine INC and was a machinist for over 50 years. He married Jean on June 30, 1978 and spent 36 wonderful years together. Danny was a lover of motorcycles, hot rods, NASCAR, and drag racing. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association, Super Chevy, and the Hawaiian Mafia. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Midland, Texas and loved the Lord with all of his heart. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Dorene Albritton. Danny is survived by his wife, Jean Albritton; sister, Judy Solomon; daughters, Lisa Albritton, Yvette Albritton, and Tami Bingham; son, Ronald Ham; and his seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are as follows: Gary Albritton, Kirk Plymell, Darren Clark, Mark Clark, Richard Solomon, and Adrian Hamilton. The family of Danny wishes to extend their sincere thanks for all the prayers and thoughts that have been sent their way, as well as to all the EMTs, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff that provided care to their sweet Danny these past few weeks.
