Joe Parum Obituary

Joe Kenneth Parum, 74, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away February 7, 2009 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 26, 1935 in Greenville, Texas. Mr. Parum was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Pumper for Key Energy in Odessa before moving to Big Spring nine years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Dessie Bobo. He is survived by his companion Connie Fraham of Big Spring, Texas; Sons Kenneth Michael Parum and Steven Aaron Parum, both of Odessa, Texas; Daughters Brenda Tucker of Odessa, Texas, Glenda Rushing of Odessa, Texas, and Karen Gray of Midland, Texas; Brothers Wallace Parum of Midland, Texas, Lucky Parum of Midland, Texas, and Donald Parum of San Angelo, Texas; Sisters Joyce Hale of Colorado City, Texas, Martha Baker of Midland, Texas, Linda Hodges of Midland, Texas, Janie Duncan of Quitman, Texas, Stella Green of Quitman, Texas, and Alice Davis of Clinton, South Carolina; and 22 Grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Garden in Odessa, Texas, with Pastor Jerry Murphy officiating.
