It is with a heavy heart that we send our condolences for Katherine’s passing. We knew her best as a GEM and will treasure our time with her and Rebecca during those years. From our weekly science meetings to summer camp, Katherine was the epitome of what we had envisioned for the GEMS program. She was such a delight to be with and her sense of humor was perfection. Along with her many talents—we often think of her cup stacking talent at camp—her intellect and ability to reason out any problem showed us she would no doubt be a stellar engineer! We mourn for her amazing family and for the world. Katherine was truly a shining star and we will miss her greatly.
Sincerely, Ronda and Olivia Coguill

Katherine was a great student, bright, energetic and diligent. Katherine was not afraid to ask questions and enquire and enquiry is one of the attributes of a great student. Often one picks a student to focus on when speaking in class, that student needs to be engaged and focused and Katherine was of those students.

katherine was a very special person. i remember having excel and business with her in school and she would light up the whole room with her laugh. im glad i was able to know her and experience her talent in the theatre she was always there with a smile and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. she impacted me in so many ways and Im sure she inspired so many of the young people at the theatre. my first performance at the orphan girl was with katherine we sang a “anything you can do” from annie get your gun together at the end of sixth grade and if it wasnt for that i wouldnt have done theatre all those years. she truly was so special

One of our favorite onstage performances of all time on the Orphan Girl Stage will forever be Shadowland, performed by Katherine Radoicich as Nala in The Lion King. Katherine poured her heart and soul into every role at OGCT, big or small, and it was often impossible to take your eyes off her when she had the stage. From her natural talent to the shining light behind her eyes, Katherine left it all on the stage every single time. Nala was no exception – each night there was barely a dry eye in the house. Every production she graced from her portrayal of Shakespeare’s Juliet, Newsies’ Mush, Snow White’s true hero Reagan, and countless other stunning performances, Katherine was a true standout performer.
Beyond her beautiful singing voice, incredible stage presence and immeasurable talents, Katherine held herself with grace, compassion and kindness. Any new participant was welcomed first by Katherine, who was genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt at ease at Orphan Girl. She was a natural leader as stage manager and always led by example, with an open heart and a gentle spirit. Her sincerity in all things was inspiring.
Katherine was also incredibly intelligent. She always learned every play inside and out and could always be depended upon to save the day when things went wrong on stage. She would always be the first to jump to a castmates aid when a line was dropped, a prop was forgotten, or a set piece went haywire. She never missed a beat while correcting whatever happened without the audience even noticing and she always did so humbly and with the best interest of the production and her teammates in mind. We have missed her since she graduated high school, and we followed her big adventures across the US and then overseas. It is impossible to imagine we won’t get to see her again.
Katherine left such a lasting mark on our OGCT family and we are deeply saddened to hear that she is no longer with us. Our hearts are with the Radoicich family, who has a long legacy of participation and volunteerism with our organization and with the greater Butte community. We cannot imagine the weight of this loss on their hearts, and ours is breaking alongside theirs. Information regarding memorial services can be found in the comments below

I had met Katherine at the Radoicich home in Butte, Montana. A very beautiful young woman, yet my heart is broken for the Radoicich family, whom I know. It is also broken within me. Little I can say or do, but I ask my Father in Heaven, in the Name of His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, to be with her family, on earth, and to help me be available if needed. We never expect to outlive our children here on earth. In much Love, Michael!

The few times I got to sit and talk with Katherine at coffee hour were a joy. She was always so kind and pleasant to talk to. Conversations with her were engaging and interesting as she was a highly intelligent and conversant woman. I know she was dearly cherished.
We love you so much, Fr, Protonica and family. We're praying for you all and for Katherine.
