how often does a person get the opportunity to talk to a great person/hero of WWII about their experience of such a time and able to relive history when listening to Bob Voucher as a bomber pilot during WWII as a guest speaker at the historic Van Horn House ? I even had the fortunate experience to befriend and talk with him during his time doing physical therapy just after his 100th birthday. What a great experience for me but, what a loss to his friends and family.

I met Bob only once in 2010 and found him quite an inspiration. I used the photos and documents he gave me to create some web pages in his honour. His good humour and sense of duty for his community and country stands in stark contrast to the current violent discourse and behaviour. We need more Bob Vauchers out there. Sincere condolences to his family and close friends.
I include photo from our first meeting.
