MILLER
AGE: 69 ANNANDALE
Brent Forrest Miller, 69, died January 4, 2010. Brent was born and raised in Washington, NJ and resided in Annandale since 1982. He was a retired music teacher for the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education for over 38 years. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and Trenton State College with a Bachelor degree in Music and a Master degree in choral conducting. While at Rutgers he was a member of the Kirkpatrick Chapel Choir, the Rutgers Choir and Glee Clubs, and was conductor of the combined Air Force and Army ROTC Cadet Chorus. Mr. Miller was a member of many music organizations. He has been active in church music, and is now in his 37th year as the church organist-choirmaster at St. John's Episcopal Church in Somerville where he served as Chair of the Music Commission for the Episcopal Diocese of NJ.
He is predeceased by his sister Karen Rieman. Surviving are his niece Lindsay Rieman and a brother-in-law Dwight Rieman.
Memorial Services will be 11am Saturday January 23, 2010 at St John's Episcopal Church, 158 West High St. Somerville. Arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
