To the Schlesinger Family,
It was an honor and a privilege to know David !!! He was one of a kind. His friends will remember him for his smile and wit. Both Eileen and I will remember him for his uncanny humor and broad perspective of life.
David, enjoy your bike rides in heaven and beautiful mountain views.
You will forever be in our hearts!!!

David was one of my best friends. We shared high school and even college experiences, both getting bachelors in Philosophy from Rutgers. He was a great companion, a splendid conversationalist, even an outstanding athlete, both on the slopes and on his bike. I think back and even our arguments were amusing. All of my memories of David - and there are a lot - are filled with love. It became clear toward the end of his life how many other people loved David, how many people admired him, were influenced by him, and enjoyed his company. He went too soon but David managed to touch a lot of us, and for that we should be greatful. Blessings to Dana, Elfie, Ady, Maya, Heidi, Gene, Lew, and David's other family and many friends, especially the boys.
