Edward Nardone

Margate City, Formerly of Parlin - Edward Nardone passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at his home in Margate City. He was 86 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Parlin for most of his life before moving to North Brunswick, Kennsaw, GA and then to Margate City.

Mr. Nardone was employed as a salesman for most of his life, served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of Saint Andrew Council 5088, Knights of Columbus in Avenel.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jo Ann Kolas Nardone, in 2009; son, Edward Nardone, in June; parents, Edward and Jean Cicchino Nardone; sisters, Jane Sinclair and Dolores Raspitzi; and brothers, Patrick and Robert Nardone.

Surviving are his daughters, Sherri Nardone of Bayville, Michelle Ungano and her husband, Nick, of Parlin, and Gena Nardone Stevens and her husband, Ricky, of Margate City; his brother Dennis Nardone and his wife Karen of Somerset, NJ; his daughter-in-Law, Stacey Lyn Nardone ; ten grandchildren, Maryann Ungano, Kristopher Nardone, Stefanie Hasbany, Krystal Gayle Nardone, Brittany Ungano, Tyler Rae DiChiaro, Mariah Nardone, Nick Ungano Jr., Anthony Ungano, and Gabrielle Nardone; six great grandchildren, Robby Krupinski, Tristyn Herbert, Gweneth James, Austin James, Ella James, and Roman DiChiaro; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 5, 2019 9:45 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
