Eileen Rivera Obituary
AGE: 58 • Hillsborough
Eileen Rivera, 58 died on Saturday October 5, 2013 in Somerset Medical Center. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Staten Island, NY before settling in Hillsborough in 1990. Eileen worked for AT&T for 40 years retiring as a manager in the billing department. She was a member of Mary Mother of God Church, Hillsborough. Eileen enjoyed reading, traveling and most of all spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter Gabrielle, her brother Angelo Rivera, her sisters, Sylvia Rivera, Vivian McElhearn and Danielle Rivera and 11 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 8:45am in the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Hwy 206, Hillsborough followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Mother of God Church, Hillsborough. Entombment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visiting will be today(Tuesday) from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's name may be made to Somerset Medical Center Annual Fund.

Gabrielle and family,
I know this is late but I wanted to let you know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. I worked with your Mother/Eileen at AT&T and never had the pleasure of meeting her face to face but talked to her many times on the phone over the last 10 or so years. She was very good at her job and well respected by her peers. She will be greatly missed and can never be replaced. I hope you are comforted by your great memories, faith and knowing she is at peace with our Heavenly Father. Brenda Martin
