Ellen Jankowski Obituary
AGE: 91 • Perth Amboy
Ellen Jankowski ( nee Tinsley ), 91 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. Ellen was born in Bolton, England and was a war bride who resided in Perth Amboy since 1947. She was a homemaker, loved knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and reading and being with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, John J. Jankowski, who passed away in 2000. She is survived by her beloved daughter & son-in-law, Susan and Kenneth Miller of Perth Amboy; granddaughter Jennifer Whalen, great-grandson Richard Whalen III; also her sister Barbara Rising and her nephews Stephen, David and her niece Karen of Bolton, England.
Many heartfelt "thanks" go to Karla, Sidney and Viviana whose care was invaluable, and to everyone from Caring Hospice Services of Edison who provided support to my mother. A graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11 am at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.
