Luigi DiFiore Obituary
Califon
Luigi "Louis" DiFiore died August 28th, 2012 with his loving family at his side. Luigi, was born in Montazzoli, Italy and as a young man he served in the Italian Army. Luigi immigrated to the United States in 1954 to Westfield, NJ. He moved to Scotch Plains in 1956 after building his own home. Luigi was a Carpenter by trade and worked with several contractors throughout his career before retiring in 1998. He later settled to Califon, NJ in 2002. Luigi was also member of the Italian American Club in Scotch Plains.
Luigi is predeceased by his wife Malvena, '96 and his son Joseph, '10. He is survived by son Ralph and wife, Kathy. His two granddaughters Danielle Lopes and her husband Oryan, and Dominque DiFiore.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1st at St. Bartholomew Church, Scotch Plains, NJ. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. Contributions can be made the the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301 Robbinsville, NJ. 08691.
