Highland Park
Marcel G Rooms DOB 7-18-40, longtime resident of Highland Park, died on 9-11-16.
Survived by his wife Arlette of 59 years. His daughters, Danielle Corbett and husband Jeff, Marilyne Cashman and husband Patrick, and son Michael Rooms and wife Karen. His son Marcel L. predeceased him in 2007.His 9 grand daughters, Michelle, Danielle, Alexis, Victoria, Kelly, Nicole, Amanda, Jamie and Lauren. 4 great grand children and 2 great great grand children.
Memorial to be held at Roman Visitation Catholic Church in Brick NJ on Saturday 9-17-16 at 11 AM.
In lieu of gifts or flowers please make donations to the church.

I am so sorry to hear of Marcel's passing. I will always remember him laughing, joking and smiling. We have a lot of great memories and he was a great guy. My family sends our deepest respects and condolences. Part of our youth has gone with his passing. As teenagers, Arlette and Marcel did everything with my aunt terry and uncle Pete, and we were always around the Kasperski clan. Mike and I became good friends at 13 and spent several Hs years around the Rooms family including Karen. Somehow, we all grew up and had our own lives, but the memories of those days will live forever in my heart. Rip Marcel ❤❤❤
