Melinda Mulrine Obituary
AGE: 41 • Hillsborough
Melinda Mulrine, 41, of Hillsborough passed away at Somerset Medical Center surrounded by her family on Dec. 7, 2012. Mindy was born in Somerville at Somerset Medical Center, grew up in Middlesex, NJ and graduated from Middlesex High School in 1989. She started her family in Middlesex and settled in Hillsborough, working at the Hillsborough High School as a guidance secretary and volunteer student mentor. Mindy served on the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department in Flagtown and was a congregant of Neshanic United Methodist Church. Mindy was a devoted wife and mother, whose children and family were the most important things to her. Her kind heart, warm smile, and hearty laugh will be surely missed by everyone who knew her.
Mindy is survived by her loving husband, Daniel, her beloved children David and Kelley, as well as her mother, Eileen Mobus; her brother, Edward Woehl and his wife Bertha; her sister, Doris, and her husband, Gary Daniels, and nieces and nephews, Kristin, Kim, Thomas, Karisa, Devon, Gavin, and Ryan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Hillsborough. A private funeral service for the family will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Online condolences can be sent to [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Melinda's memory to Friends of Animals or FOSRAS.

I offer my deepest sympathies to the Mulrine Family during this grief stricken time. The Mindy I remember from high school was a kind and gentle soul indeed; it's apparent to me that her sweet disposition made her an exceptional wife, mother and friend in her life beyond graduation. Her untimely passing is tragic, her love however, will endure.

My heart is breaking trying to fathom that Mindy has been laid to rest today. Although we had not seen each other for some time now, she was my very first best friend as a child and I hold so many fond memories of our time spent together. What a sweet girl, so loving and warm. I am praying continuously for Eileen, Danny, David, Kelley and everyone else mourning the loss of this great woman. May the Lord hold you in His loving arms and bring you the Peace that only He can in a time like this.

A couple of months ago we had no idea we could lose Mindy. It would hardly have seemed possible. Life is indeed fragile. I will, with the rest of our colleagues, keep Mindy's memory as precious. Sincere condolences to Mindy's family and friends. May the Lord bring you comfort.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a great friend. Mindy was one of my closest friends when I lived in Middlesex. She was a beautiful, sweet friend that I missed dearly when I moved to Texas after sophomore year. I was blessed to have had her as a friend. Prayers to her family during this difficult time.
