Robert Burns Obituary
AGE: 61 • South River
Robert E. Burns, 61, of South River died Monday October 14, 2013. He grew up in Morgan and resided in South River for many years. He was employed by the Franklin Township School District in the Maintenance Dept. for the past 27 years.
Bob was happiest on his Harley and when he was with his 2 sons, Robert and Bryan and his fiancee, Stephanie. He leaves them with beautiful memories to treasure forever. Son of the late Frank and Georgianna Burns, he was also predeceased by his wife, Veronica Raczskowski Burns in 2006. He leaves behind his sons, Robert Burns and his girlfriend, Kathleen Lovely Lynch and Bryan Burns; his sister, Carol Carminati and her husband, Sal; his brother, Tim Burns; his fiancee, Stephanie Robicheau; many nieces and nephews and a whole host of friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 18, 2013 at 10am at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by private cremation. Relatives and friends may visit the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday October 17, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.

Bobby - We already miss you terribly. We cherish all of the happy memories we have of you - our infamous trip to NYC, the auctions, Daytona Beach, road trips, and all of the laughter and jokes we have shared over the years. So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Bob was always warm and friendly. He was nice to talk to and had a great sense of humor. He was a really sweet man and I will miss seeing him around the Board of Education.
