She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert M. Hossler; sisters Florence Koscielski, Mae Kowalski and Eleanor Gordon; and brothers Joseph, Richard and Robert; as well as son-in-law William Pfeiffer. Dorothy is survived by her son, Robert J. Hossler and wife Kathleen, of Smyrna, Del.; daughters Gail Pfeiffer, of Apalachin, N.Y., and Carol Lojewski and husband Chad, of Shavertown; sister Carole Ferruggiaro, of Gwynn, Va.; as well as grandchildren John, Brian, Maureen, Sara, Laurel and Drew; and many nieces and nephews, including Mary Ellen Delbalso, of Wilkes-Barre.
