David Engelmann Obituary

BAYLIS — David K. Engelmann, 70, of Baylis passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at his companion's residence in Winchester.

He was born September 4, 1946, the son of Woodrow and Esther Fitch Engelmann.

Surviving are his companion, Tammy Pennell of Winchester; a daughter, Jayla (Jason) Likes; three grandchildren, Jaysa, Jaylei and Ashlyn Likes, all of Winchester; and a brother, Fred (JoAnn) Engelmann of Baylis. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Carol Willett, Peggy Jennings and Kaye Stout; and two brothers, Ed Stout and Joe Stout.

He was a contractor and a country music agent. He loved the music business and was a member of the IEBA, a country music organization. He managed two bands, 2 Way Crossing and Broseph E. Lee. Most of all he loved his daughter and granddaughters.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at dawsfuneralhome.com.
