Matthew Coats Obituary
He was born Nov. 11, 1978, in Jacksonville, son of Thomas and Roxella Henderson Coats.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Roxella Coats of Jacksonville; a loving companion, Tonya Adams of Jacksonville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a clerk at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Jacksonville for six years and loved to fish, hunt and spend time outdoors. He also loved riding his motorcycle and four wheeler.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Matthew "Pork Chop" Coats Memorial Fund c/o Williamson Funeral Home, 1405 Lincoln Ave. Jacksonville, IL 62650. Condolences may be left to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.

It is hard to understand how God can take someone so young. Matt was one heck of a person. Always cutting up and laughing. It just goes to show God had a special place just for him. Tom and Roxy you raised an awesome man. And he touched many lifes. RIP Chops
