Raymond Duewer Obituary
He was born Aug. 2, 1934, at the family farm north of Waverly, son of the late Frank and Myra Brown Duewer. He married Dorothy Williamson of Springfield on Oct. 2, 1955, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Cathy (Roger) Ward, Pat (Jim) Whalen, Rich (Teri) Duewer and Carol (Doug) Conrady: 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Rosemary (Stan) Jones and Dr. Deborah (Jim Martin) Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy Hayes.
Mr. Duewer was a lifelong farmer who belonged to several livestock and farm organizations. He also was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Waverly, serving in all officer positions.
A funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Christ Lutheran Church in Waverly. Burial will be at Luken Cemetery near Waverly. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Waverly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Waverly Rescue Squad or Waverly American Legion Building Fund, all c/o Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 Tanner, Waverly, IL 62692. Condolences may be sent to the family online at airsman-hires.com.

So sorry I could not be with you on May12th at the Church. Raymond was a good friend. I know you will all miss him but we also know Raymond is with God now. You will continue to be in our hearts and prayers. RIP Raymond!!!

Sorry to hear about Brother Ray. Sadly, we are loosing many of the FarmHouse Brothers but I guess we are all in the age 80 and up grope and we will see more we know in the near future. I am sorry I will not be there for services. I have to be in Chicago for two great granddaughters birthdays. My thoughts and prayers go out to you for your loss.
