David Zwicker Obituary

David F. Zwicker, affectionately known to his friends and family as “Dave,” passed away with his sister by his side on February 22, 2024, in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

Dave was born in Stoneham, MA on September 14, 1954, a son to the late Frederick W. and Lorraine L. (Jehu) Zwicker. Their family lived in North Reading, MA, where he spent much of his life before moving to New Hampshire and living with his sister Cindy Wing in Jaffrey for the past six years.

Dave was a graduate of Andover Business as a CPA, and for many years he worked at H&R Block and then owned his own computer store in North Reading for many years.

Dave was known for his humor and his caring nature. He had a love for many things, but family was his number one. He was eclectic and had varying tastes in music including artists such as Meatloaf, AC/DC, Juthro Tull, and Edith Pilaf who was a famous musician during WW2. His favorite hobbies included hanging out at his house in Jaffrey where he could fish from his backyard. He also loved his dogs Bourne, Abby, and Dottie.

Dave married the love of his life and his world, Kathy Lynn Mooshian on April 4th, 1987, at Saint Monica Church in Methuen, MA.

He was predeceased by his wife Kathy Zwicker, daughter Katelyn Dorothy Zwicker, his mother Lorraine L. Zwicker, his father Frederick W. Zwicker, and his sisters, Noreen Lynne Fairfield, and Pamela J. Zwicker.

He will forever be remembered by his sisters, Cheryl Ryan and her husband Wes Ryan of Tewksbury, MA, Cindy Wing of Jaffrey, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews: Larissa Bodnar, Ashely and Jillian McClain of Florida, Zach Fuller and his daughter Scarlett of Everette, MA, Joshua Wing, Kelly Wing, , Derek Wing, and Teagen Wing,  all of Utah, Amanda L. Wing of Jaffrey, NH, Eric and his wife Erica of Manchester, NH, his great-nephew who was named after him, Kai-David Wing, his aunt Lara Robinson of Haverhill MA, as well as many friends and extended family.

Dave was best known for his saying “not goodbye, later.” He would say, “goodbye was forever and later you’ll see each other again.”

Per the request of his family, there will be no services.

Dave will be laid to rest beside his wife and daughter in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading, at a later date.
