Nina, Rex, Cody and Misti,
I can't tell you how very sorry I was to hear of Don's passing. He was a kind and gentle man who I loved like my own father. His love for everyone, and especially his family, was cherished by all who knew him. He exemplified all that is beautiful in this world. My love to you all in this very difficult time. I will always remember when he sang "Seven Spanish Angels" and I know that the angels are rejoicing to hear his sweet voice in heaven. I will miss him greatly.

Oh Nina,

Please know that ya'll are in our prayers. We pray God's Peace and Grace carry you though these days to come. My goodness how time flies, it seems like just last week we visited and our son "Little" Ruben noticed the Deer head mounted on your wall and he looked around to the other side of the wall looking for the rest of the body. (Poor boy didn't go hunting much LOL) Well we love you as always

Nina Ruth, children and family I was deeply saddened when Billy James called and told me about Don. There are so many memories we have of being together Lodge, O.E.S.Scouts the list goes on and on, all were wonderful times, to recall time and time again. Nina , just this past week-end we were telling some of the family about the time ,I had to have Don, cut off some hand cuffs off of Cory Michael as he put them on at a garage sale and the people told us they had no key. What a shock for an seven year old. Even the sheriff's dept. couldn't get them off.,so Don bless his heart came to my rescue, took him to his shop and cut them off. Cory to this day will tell you I will not have hand cuffs put on me,he is 31 years old. May GOD give you peace of heart and all the memories you need. We love you and think of you often. LOVE, Jamie and Bobbie Williams. Nacogdoches, Texas

I saw the notice in the AJ about Don,bringing memories of Don when he was young handsome with that special smile and those deep blue eyes, with all that curly blond hair, tall slim strong so full of life and love for his family and friends.Good days of youth for all of us is the way I choose to remember Don . I send deep love and caring concerns for NINA RUTH may you have your family surround you bringing many happy memories of your life with Don to hold that will comfort knowing life in only a vapor that first appears then fades away but Christ has promised us life forever with him and Don is now Gods perfect care. CAROL PAT remembering our care free childhood life in days that went far to fast for all of us as we were kids playing jacks and going to the La Hart movie were Don was the projection operator. Don will always be your caring loving brother that God gave you.Don proved to be a strong honorable husband father, brother and son always protective of his family Don has many people who will miss him and will remember him as a man of much worth. May God send his angels tp hold you all in their care comforting you and the prayers of friends supporting you until your are all together again.

Nina, words cannot express our sorrow. It seems like only yesterday that we were watching the guys race motocycles while we chased kids in the pits. I remember the sessions of spades while the guys were hunting in Colorado. We all had so much fun together. Time goes by so quickly. Earth has lost a great guy, but Heaven has gained a true angel. God bless you and all your family.
