Lucy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know what a wonderful brother and son George was. He was blessed to be a part of such a loving family. My thoughts, love and prayers are with you and your family.

George was the consummate professional. He quietly went about managing security issues. Most tasks were mundane badge requests, but he could work with Management on covert internal investigations to uncover computer thefts, as well as anyone from Scotland Yard.

Unknown to most people, George had a sense of humor that was larger than life, and he could come out with something so comical, with his wry grin, that would bring you to your knees with laughter. He was that stable fixture that you depended on seeing each day when you came through the door. Through rain, sleet or snow, George was always here.

The rare times that George took vacation, it was always for family related events. Very few personal things were known about George, except for the profound love he felt for his large family. During the Christmas holidays, everyone looked forward to, and counted on George bringing his Mothers’ famous homemade tamales to the Christmas party.

Condolences continue to come in from employees, and the many vendors and contractors who worked with George. He was a valued asset to National Instruments, but his loss has been felt by many. George will be missed by all.

George was a very good man and friend. I remembered when he started working at National Instruments I just knew he was someone I wanted to get to know. I enjoyed his stories , the wonderful memories of his childhood, trips to Mexico, and his family. He really enjoyed the visits from his Mother and sister and showing them the sites of Austin. He was so proud of his family, bragged about his God daughter and son and looked forward to the next family gathering. I shared my jam and he shared his Mom’s tamales. Yum! I so looked forward to Christmas and tamales.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Aguilera, Lucy, Rafael, Dave and the entire family. May God Bless you.

George had a pure heart and was a wonderful friend throughout high school and after we headed off to college. He had a great sense of humor and he always inspired me to always do my best. He had a brilliant mind, but more than anything he was true to himself, his family and his friends. I will always admire George and I will never forget his kindness and friendship.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Aguilera, Lucy, Rafael and Dave. My prayers are with you.

George was my best friend and boss. He was a friend to my wife and 'uncle' George to my daughter. We spent countless hours talking at work and many weekends together. We kept each other on top of the latest technology, often trying to outdo the other. From playing poker to cooking out to just talking about whatever, he was one of the few people that will ever be a true best friend and someone I could call on for anything. He has left a major void in my heart that will take a lifetime to fill.

Maria, Lucy, Rafael, Dave and the many other family members I never had the chance to meet, know that my deepest, most sincere condolences are with you.
