Daron Shane Savage was born on February 4, 1972, to Lanny and Carleen Savage in Hale Center, Texas. Throughout his life, family and friends alike knew him as "Shane."
Shane married Tonya Spradling on April 15, 2000, in Denton, Texas. Shane and Tonya began their life in Lubbock, Texas, where they have remained throughout their marriage. Shane received his degree in graphic arts from Dallas Art Institute. He began his career in the Graphics and printing business working for Copy Craft for 13 years. Shane then took on a new challenge and began working in the oilfield for AST based out of Midland, Texas. As many can attest, Shane had an infectious personality and charisma, which captivated the people he met in work and life. As the years grew, so did the number of people he touched along the way. Shane had a special way of making a stranger into a friend within minutes of interacting with them. His smile was genuine, and his kind-natured heart made an impact on the people he met. Shane's personality shined most during his moonlighting karaoke DJ gigs with his friend David and ALWAYS at the golf course. Those two places let people see the fun-loving, competitive, driven person that he was. Shane was a hard worker who would always lend a hand to help anyone who asked. He loved going hunting with his friends and brother Shawn. As much as Shane loved to golf with his friends at golf tournaments and being the center of attention at any Karaoke session, his greatest love and passion was for his wife and children. Shane and Tonya were blessed with raising four beautiful children and his beloved niece. Shane was a great father, husband, brother, uncle, and son who sacrificed his time and energy for the happiness of others. His love for life and an amazing attitude throughout his battle is what made him special and easy to root for. All one has to do, is look at all the people left in his wake and see the love he shared with everyone. The people left here will be the ones to carry on his love for life, and that is exactly what he would want people to do. There is still a lot of Shane left in this world within the people he touched and loved. Carry that forward. And as Shane would say, "Peace in the Middle East!"
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Savage; their children, Brennan, Prestan, Zadan, and Azlan Savage; his niece that he raised as a daughter, A'lexon Spradling; mother, Carleen Hayes; siblings, Michelle Savage, Shawn Savage, and wife, April; Beau Savage and wife, Shea; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Shane's stepbrother Casey Savage, wife, Janette, and step-sister, Becca Ford.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lanny Earl Savage.
Tonya would like to thank Kindred Hospice and all the friends and family for their help during his battle with cancer, especially her mom, Liz Taylor-Lane.
The family of Shane Savage has designated the Make A Wish Lubbock, https://wish.org/ for memorial contributions donated in his memory.

Shane Savage was my classmate. Shane was SOMETHING ELSE! Clever wit and so engaging. He also had that personality to bridge gaps. So sorry I didn't have the opportunity to catch up with him and see him in action! God bless you and rest in paradise.
