Timothy C. Perez, 40, of Plainview passed away in his home on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the 9th & Columbia Church of Christ in Plainview with Evan Weiss officiating. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.
This wonderful soul was the type of man, whenever in a room, his smile and laughter was infectious it could always brighten anyone's day. He was someone who took pride in his appearance, as if always giving a first impression. Tim was the type of son that would enjoy every morning watching old reruns with his mother Sissy and his PaPa Stan. He loved being a brother to his siblings through the good times and the indifferences; the bond between them was always strong. His main passion was his children; whether it was taking them fishing, rough housing or just sitting and watching a movie for the hundredth time. Those were the moments that he treasured and he lived for, including loving on his grandchildren. Even though his life was cut short, the impact he made on our lives will last forever.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Georgia Perez and Willie and Juanita Cantu.
He is survived by his children, Angel Lena Perez, Daisy Faith Perez, Timothy Joshua Perez Jr. and Chance Matthew Perez; two grandchildren, Avianna Perez and Anthony Gurrola; his mother and stepfather, Cecilia and Stan Beasley; his father, Daniel Perez Sr.; his siblings, Daniel Perez Jr., Jeremiah Perez and his wife Grizelda, and Bonnie Perez.
His children would like to give a special thank you to Papa Stan and Mimi Sissy. "We want to say Thank You for giving our father unconditional love and a sense of companionship."
