William "Willie" has been my friend for 30 years , we worked at AVX in Myrtle Beach together, we laid brick and block together and we worked at Conbraco together but most of all he was my brother. Willie , Lisa and the boys were such a big part of my life, Willie was a father figure to me and taught this city boy a whole lot about many a thing. We hung out as much as we worked and got into many adventure when I lived in Conway. Lisa always made sure i didnt go hungry when we were hanging out around the house in "Dog Bluff" We moved to Florida and didnt keep in touch as much as we should have but everyone I know knows about William Mackay, all the stories and his legacy will live on forever.

I worked at AVX with Willie back in the mid 90s. He taught me everything there was to know about that company. I hated the day he left to start his own business. I'll never forget, Willie was working and he turned to say something to me. His face was swollen pretty bad. I said Willie, who hit you? He said I've got a bad tooth. I said you should be home. He said I can hurt at home, or I can be here making money while I hurt. That stuck with me throughout my working career. If I ever thought of calling in sick, I would remember Willie.
I will be praying for Lisa and the kids.
